Sold the Tricross and 24 hour race prep
So, the Tricross is no longer in my possession. Sold it. More so, the store sold it, as I had technically only been hanging on to it for a while. Kinda sad to see it go, it was a great ride. Getting back on the old steel touring bike is a complete change. Flexy, shoddy handling, and mediocre Sora shifting. A pretty big step down.
I’ve been riding the single speed a ton recently attempting to get ready for 12 hours of solo pain at the 24 hour race. I’m attempting the new 12 hour category on a fully rigid, aluminum, single speed. Should be fun and incredibly hard. With some luck the course will dry out and we’ll have great conditions.
Haven’t been posting recently (or at all) because it’s been the same stuff everyday, ride, be really busy at work, ride home. Nothing terribly exciting. Plus until just a week or two ago, the store was still really really busy, and I hardly had time to do everything else let alone blog, but now that it isn’t quite so hectic, I should be writing more.
